German Language Course for Adults and Prospective University Students
Studying in German universities and working for German companies requires qualification in the German language. Carl DuisbergCentren’soffers language courses for adults and prospective university studentsin all of Carl DuisbergCentren’s locations and its programs can be combined to ensure high-quality education for each participant. Once finished with the programs, you can take part in internationally recognized language examinations. The programs are:
- German Intensive Course 24+6. In this program, you will spend 24 Training Units (45 minutes each) in a group course and 6 Training Units with a language tutor or working on workshops or projects.
- German Crash Course. A combination of group lessons and one-on-one lessons to optimize understanding of the German language.
- German One-to-One Course. This course allows you to customize your own goals of learning the German language and course programs are tailored to suit your individual needs.
- German Homestay Tuition. Youwill be trained in the German language while staying at their trainer’s home throughout the course period to totally immerse yourselves in German culture.
- German Exams. This program trains you in the German language with the sole focus of preparing you for the German language exams you are going to take.
German Language Camp for Kids
In order to help kids aged 11-14 learn German in a fun way, Carl DuisbergCentren organizes German language camps during the summer at their location of Radolfzell on Lake Constance. During the camp, kids can learn the German language as well as football with FC Radolfzell or jazz and hip hop dance with qualified choreographers.
German Courses for Teens
If you are a teenager aged 15-17, you can take part in Carl DuisbergCentren’s German course for teenagers which takes place during the summer or winter holidays. In this program, you will learn German twice a week and go on excursions to explore your surroundings. In summer, you will also get to soak up the sun at Lake Constance and take part in activities such as paddle-boarding, cycling or volleyball. In winter, you will experience snow on the Alps and take part in ice-skating, sledding, as well as an all-day ski trip to Austria or Switzerland.
High School Preparatory Program
Carl DuisbergCentren provides assistance for 9th and 10th grade students aiming to study in German high schools. By analyzing your academic interests and performance, the center finds the most suitable public, private or International Baccalaureate for you in Lake Constance, Berlin, Cologne, or Munich. The center also has a preparatory program which includes German and English courses as well as activities to help you get to know your surroundings.
