TOKYO INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Overview of Tokyo International Unviersity

Tokyo International University (TIU) was founded as a small business college in 1965. Since obtaining accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the college has grown into a private university that now encompasses five schools (the School of Business and Commerce, Economics, Language Communication, International Relations, and Human and Social Sciences) and four graduate schools (the Graduate School of Business and Commerce, Economics, International Relations, and Clinical Psychology).

Staying consistently true to its educational philosophy of “nurturing truly international-minded people,” TIU has expanded practice-oriented international education. The University boasts a highly international learning environment: of TIU’s approximately 6,000 students, nearly 700 are international students from over 30 countries around the world.

The E-Track Program, which began in 2014, focuses on providing international students and others with the opportunity to obtain a degree in an English-medium curriculum. It builds on the international education expertise that TIU has developed over the decades. We invite you to surround yourself with a diverse mix of value systems and develop the abilities it takes to flourish on the global stage.

Tuition Reduction Scholarship

The E-Track program offers generous scholarship programs to students. The scholarship programs are designed to encourage students’ desire to learn by reducing tuition by 30%. 50%, 80%, or 100% based on the academic performance and living conditions at the admission. The scholarship remains valid for four years as the recipient maintains a good academic performance.

5-Year Bachelor’s / Master’s Program

High-performing students planning to continue their studies in a TIU graduate school can obtain both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in five years. The program makes learning more efficient by allowing students to secure both degrees in shorter time and at lower cost.

The curriculum of the E-Track Program enables students to cultivate a broad educational background and deepen their knowledge in specialized fields of Business Economics and International Relations. E-Track also boasts small class size, creating stronger bonds between students and teaching staff.
